Westchester Piano studio located in Katonah, NY is a musician owned boutique piano showroom. Hand selected pianos of the best pedigree are offered after extensive evaluation and concert level preparation by a world class registered piano technician. We specialize in Steinway, Yamaha, Mason Hamlin, and Kawai uprights and grands. By maintaining a small footprint we offer great pianos at extremely competitive prices. 40 miles from NYC and easily accessible by Metro-North make it a worthwhile stop for anyone in the market for a great piano in the tri-state area.

Tyler Blanton has been a professional musician and educator for over two decades. A musical ear and infatuation with the inner workings of the piano has lead him on many searches for exceptional pianos for himself, students and colleagues. He maintains working relationships with a huge network within the piano industry and is constantly expanding his own knowledge and expertise.  At Westchester piano, his goal is to provide concierge level service; starting by educating clients on the  products, sourcing exclusive and unique instruments, and offering top tier customer service after delivery. 

Westchester Piano Studio works closely with Michael Jurewicz at Riverside Piano Works. Mr. Jurewicz is an accomplished certified RPT who has extensive training at Bechstein, Bosendorfer, and Fazioli in addition to over a decade of working experience as head technician at Faust Harrison Pianos. He has published articles for the Piano Technician’s Guild, done field work for Steinway, and is currently on the board of advisors for the North Bennet Street School in Boston, MA. Jurewicz is versed in all aspects of piano service and maintenance including tuning, voicing, touch weight control, and concert regulation.

Jordan Bailey is a versed piano technician with nearly 30 years working experience. A graduate of the North Bennet Street School for piano technology in Boston, he has worked as the manager and director of technical services for Faust Harrison pianos later to become Foreman of Tone Regulation at the Steinway and Sons factory NY. He has served as an instructor for the Steinway Academy for technicians and is a piano hammer maker for Ronsen Piano hammer Co. based in Boiceville, NY. He’s in demand as a consultant for several major piano manufacturers around the world.
